Satellite

The challenge:

Hanwha Phasor are a disruptive start at the forefront of pioneering enterprise-grade active electronically steered user terminals for satellite communications on the move, designed to provide seamless connectivity across air, land, and sea. They aim to be first to market with this technology ahead of their main competitor - Starlink.

Solution:

Hanwha had operated within siloed project teams, leading to limited collaboration, redundant efforts and slower time to market. The rigid project-based structure was also hindering the companies' ability to adapt to market changes and customer demands quickly.

The company has shifted its focus from project deliverables to developing and maintaining a portfolio of satellite communication products which are tailored to customer needs. Due to the removal of silos, there are more opportunities for team members to communicate and collaborate – in addition to automation and continuous delivery the teams are now able to release several times daily as opposed to once every few weeks. This has been a game changer in the ability to rapidly demonstrate capability to customers.
